Education Is Important, Ayu Azhari: Knowledge Becomes the Light of Life

The world of education plays an important role in shaping the future of a generation. This was conveyed by senior actress and cast member of the film Suamiku Lukaku, Ayu Azhari, during her visit to Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas Wonorejo Campus on Monday (May 18).
On that occasion, Ayu Azhari emphasized that education is an essential foundation for children. As a woman and a mother, she believes that children should be given the widest possible opportunity to pursue education. According to her, parents have the responsibility to provide support and the best opportunities for their children in gaining knowledge.
“In my opinion, as a woman and also as a mother, honestly, if my children are given opportunities and ease in learning, then I will guide them and provide as much space as possible for them to pursue education,” Ayu said after attending a Mental Health Talk Show at UHW Perbanas.
She also explained that education should not always be measured by how high a degree someone achieves, but rather by how knowledge can bring real benefits to daily life.
“Education does not always have to be at the highest level, but it should match one’s abilities. The most important thing is guidance and development. We need to have knowledge that is useful in our lives because in the future, it will become a light and support us toward a better life,” she added.
Ayu Azhari’s presence on campus also inspired students to remain enthusiastic about learning and self-development. Her message served as a reminder that education is not only about academic achievement, but also about building character, broadening perspectives, and preparing oneself to face future life challenges.
