The Diploma 3 Program in Banking & Finance at Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas actively participated in community service activities as part of its commitment to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. One of its lecturers, Dr. Anggraeni, S.E., M.Si., served as a speaker in the Business Talk program organized by Klik FM Surabaya in collaboration with the Center for Research and Community Service of Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas on Thursday (February 5).

In this activity, Dr. Anggraeni delivered material titled Risk Management for Business, emphasizing the importance of implementing risk management in running a business. She explained that every business activity is inseparable from various potential risks, whether financial, operational, or strategic, thus requiring proper management to ensure business sustainability.

Furthermore, she outlined the fundamental steps in risk management, starting from risk identification, analysis, evaluation, to mitigation strategies that can be applied by business actors. With this understanding, it is expected that business practitioners, especially MSMEs, will be able to make more informed decisions and minimize potential losses.

This Business Talk activity represents a tangible form of synergy between academia and media in providing education to the public. Through this program, it is hoped that the knowledge possessed by academics can be widely disseminated and deliver practical benefits for business development in the community.
