Super Softskills Mentoring UHW Perbanas 2026 Begins

Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas has officially started the Super Softskills Mentoring (SSM) 2026 program. The activity began with an Opening and Orientation session held online on Friday (March 6). Carrying the theme “Leading with Impact: Green Leadership for Sustainable Future,” this program aims to equip new students with strong soft skills in addition to their academic competencies.The Rector of Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas, Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Si., explained that SSM is a program designed to cultivate and develop students’ soft skills. “We know that soft skills often become the differentiating factor between students who are only academically intelligent and those who are truly ready to enter the real world, either as employees in companies or as entrepreneurs,” he said.
He emphasized that the Super Softskills Mentoring Program at UHW Perbanas serves as a bridge between academic life and the professional world. Success in a career is not solely determined by the Grade Point Average (GPA), but also by students’ ability to adapt and their daily ethics, which are cultivated through positive academic culture.
“Communication skills developed through leadership and teamwork activities become a key differentiator. In addition, creative problem-solving skills will be experienced throughout the SSM program, along with the ability to manage time and stress. These soft skills competencies will distinguish our students from others, especially as they are studying at UHW Perbanas as a Business and Technology Campus,” emphasized Dr. Yudi Sutarso.
Meanwhile, the Head of the SSM 2026 Organizing Committee, Titis Puspitaningrum Dewi Kartika, S.Pd., M.SA., stated that the program will run for one semester, from March to July 2026. Students participating in the Super Softskills Mentoring (SSM) 2026, known as mentees, will be guided by student mentors and general mentors. All materials delivered in the program have been prepared and supervised by lecturers serving as program advisors. (eko/hms)
