Bringing Miridih Korea to Campus, UHW Perbanas Guides Students Toward Global Careers

Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas continues to demonstrate its commitment to strengthening students’ global outlook. This initiative was realized through a Guest Lecture titled “Unlocking Digital Creativity in Pursuing Global Career” in collaboration with Miridih Korea, held on Monday (October 27).

The lecture, conducted in Room C301 at the Wonorejo Campus, featured Irenna Elizabeth, S.Ak., MBA., the Partnership Development Manager of MiriCanvas—a subsidiary of Miridih Korea specializing in digital creativity. A proud native of Surabaya, Irenna shared her journey of building a successful career abroad. In her talk, she emphasized the importance of adaptability in the digital era and recounted her early experiences as the only Indonesian employee in her company after pursuing her master’s degree in South Korea.

“At first, I experienced culture shock since it was my first time living abroad in Korea. However, after adapting and learning the work culture, I was able to develop my creativity and grow professionally,” she explained during the session.

Before the lecture began, Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Collaboration, Dr. Dra. Lindiawati, M.M., highlighted in her opening remarks that this event served as an implementation of the partnership between UHW Perbanas and Miridih Korea.

“Through this guest lecture, students can gain global insights into international companies and explore potential career opportunities, including those at Miridih Korea. Moving forward, this collaboration will continue to be expanded and strengthened to create programs that benefit UHW Perbanas students and alumni,” she stated.

Also in attendance were Head of the Bachelor of Management Program, Dr. Emma Yulianti, S.E., M.M., accompanied by Dewi Murdiawati, S.E., M.M., who expressed their appreciation and support for this collaborative initiative. The event was marked by the signing of an Implementation of Agreement (IoA) and an Activity Minutes of Meeting between UHW Perbanas and Miridih Korea.

Through this initiative, UHW Perbanas reaffirms its position as an internationally accredited Business and Technology University, strongly committed to preparing globally competitive graduates through strategic collaborations with international industry partners. (eko/hms)
