Welcoming a Visit, UHW Perbanas Strengthens Collaboration with Community Health Center and Urban Village Office

Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas welcomed the leadership team from Wonorejo Urban Village and Medokan Ayu Community Health Center, Rungkut District, Surabaya. Held in the meeting room of Building A, Wonorejo Campus, the event aimed to strengthen collaboration on each party’s work programs to bring benefits both to the campus community and the surrounding residents.
During the meeting, UHW Perbanas Rector, Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Si., emphasized his university’s commitment to making a positive impact on society. Support from the urban village office and community health center will certainly help in the implementation of the university’s Tridharma (three pillars of higher education), one of which is community service.
"Collaboration with the urban village office has so far provided significant support to the campus, particularly in terms of boarding house availability. In addition, it has helped create a conducive environment for students to learn," he stated on Thursday (8/7).
On the health side, Medokan Ayu Community Health Center has often partnered with UHW Perbanas in various activities on campus. In the near future, they will hold an Indonesian Presidential program in the form of free health check-ups at UHW Perbanas. "It will be specifically for students, staff, and lecturers," he explained.
He also detailed past collaborative health programs with Medokan Ayu Community Health Center, such as vaccination drives and other social activities. "Medokan Ayu Community Health Center is a strategic partner, especially in health programs at UHW Perbanas," he concluded.
Attending the meeting from UHW Perbanas were: Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Si., Vice Rector for Student Affairs & Cooperation Dr. Dra. Lindiawati, M.M., Head of HC-GA Ade Dina Herlina, S.Si., M.Si., and Head of Student Affairs Division Aris Handayani, S.E.
Meanwhile, attending from the partner institutions were: Wonorejo Urban Village Head Ari Hardini, S.T., M.M., and Head of Medokan Ayu Community Health Center Dr. Dini Octavia Sitaresmi along with her team. (eko/pr)
