In order to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day, STIE Perbanas Surabaya provides Independence Scholarships to Prospective New Students for the 2016/2017 academic year. The scholarships provided by the Perbanas Foundation are for 71 prospective new students who make their first re-registration, starting from 2 July - 17 August 2016. Each new student candidate who is selected to receive an Independence Scholarship is entitled to receive 2 million rupiahs.

In addition, for prospective students who do not have sufficient funds to study, STIE Perbanas Surabaya also provides a Bidikmisi Scholarship program. Currently, Kemenristek Dikti has trusted STIE Perbanas Surabaya to provide Bidikmisi Scholarships to prospective new students with a quota of 20 people.
